- Professional Boxer Floyd Mayweather announced that he wants to fight Manny Pacquaio again
- He said it will be held later this year and it will be a 9-figure pay day
- Recently, Manny also became the prospect opponent of Britain’s Amir Khan
American boxer Floyd Mayweather made an important announcement on his social media account about the Filipino pride Manny Pacquiao.
KAMI learned that the undefeated boxer wants to return to the boxing ring and set aside his announced retirement few years ago.
Floyd said this is to give way for the much-anticipated rematch with the Filipino boxing icon.
In his Instagram post, the WBO welterweight champion bravely expressed that he will be fighting Manny later this year.
Aside from indicating that it will be a 9-figure pay day, the boxer did not give further details about the much-awaited bout.
“I'm coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year. Another 9 figure pay day on the way," he wrote.
It can be remembered that in 2015, Floyd defeated Manny via Unanimous decision to remain undefeated in his career with 50 wins and 27 KOs.
Floyd then fought and knocked out UFC champion Conor McGregor and eventually said it was his last fight.
On the other hand, after a successful battle with Lucas Matthysse, Manny is still waiting for his next opponent in the ring after saying that he is not retiring yet from professional boxing.
Britain's Amir Khan expressed his desires to fight Manny after his much-talked-about win over Samuel Vargas just this month.
"The only fight that works for me over Kell Brook is Manny Pacquiao. I want him. He is my number-one pick." Amir remarked.
In a previous article by KAMI, the American boxer visited the Philippines and had an awesome island escapade in Palawan with Dyan Castillejo and other Pinays.
Born on February 24, 1977, Floyd is a professional boxer and promoter who holds multiple world titles in five weight classes. In 2015, he was hailed as Forbes ranked number one World's Highest-Paid Celebrities.
