- Rayver Cruz thoroughly thought about his plan of transferring to GMA Network
- As a matter of fact, it took him over a year to come up with a decision
- He also revealed what made him finally decide to push through with the network transfer
Rayver Cruz revealed he had to think for over a year until he was finally convinced that transferring to GMA7 is a good decision.
He admitted this on his contract signing under GMA Network Center, in Quezon City.
"Di naman madali. Matagal din. Mga siguro more than a year.
"More than a year din kaming nag-uusap ng manager ko and siyempre ang family ko, so hindi naman siya biglaan.
He was hoping to find new opportunities with this move. "Yun nga, napagkasunduan namin and ako rin, dinesisyunan ko na, 'Ano naman tayo, try natin i-explore and i-open ang options natin sa ibang opportunities.'
The actor also is thinking about his future career and he thinks the network has a lot to offer for his career growth.
"As an actor kasi, sa tinagal ko na sa industriya, siyempre, at this point of my career, gusto ko rin isipin yung future ng career.
"And I think ang daming opportunities ang maibibigay sa akin ang GMA Network regarding sa mga projects and kung anuman ang challenging roles na pwede nilang maibigay."
Rayver started his career as a child star under GMA-7 during the mid-90s. It was in the year 2000 when he transferred to the Kapamilya Network and stayed for 18 years. It must be a tough decision since he had been a Kapamilya star for quite a while.
