- Sen. Trillanes publicized his proof for amnesty application back in 2011
- He even showed his application form and certificate of amnesty
- Magdalo Representative Gary Alejano shared on social media a video of Trillanes during his application of amnesty
Sen. Antonio Trillanes has finally showed to the public his evidence of applying for amnesty back in 2011. Series of photos and a video that have been posted will contradict President Duterte’s proclamation that Trillane’s amnesty was invalid for he did not apply for it in the first place.
KAMI learned from Rappler that Sen. Trillanes presented a video showing his application of amnesty with the Department of National Defense (DND) at Camp Aguinaldo.
In addition, Trillanes showcased a photo of his duly filled out application form along with the court decisions regarding cases against Magdalo.
He even showed a copy of Proclamation No. 75 which granted Trillanes amnesty, signed by former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III back in 2010.
A photo of a document saying that Trillanes along with other soldiers filed an application to DND was also shown.
And of course, the certificate of his amnesty signed by former Sec. of National Defense, Voltaire Gazmin.
Meanwhile, Magdalo Representative Gary Alejano showed his support to his friend, Sen. Trillanes through a tweet containing photos and videos of the senator during his application of amnesty.
As previously reported by KAMI, the DND is still searching for the document that could support the arguments stated by Trillanes.
