International singer Ariana Grande has been the talk of the town in social media after being groped on her breast by a member of the Church.

KAMI learned that the incident happened shortly after Ariana performed on the funeral of America's "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin.

When the performance of the 25-year-old pop star was done, she was congratulated by Bishop Charles H. Ellis III who also officiated the funeral.

However, the said Bishop became “too friendly” and wrapped his right arm around the award-winning singer.

Charles’ hand just went above Ariana’s waist and his fingers appeared pressed on her chest as what the photos and video footage showed.

Aside from this, the Church member made racist remarks and jokes about the singer that drew laughter from the audience.

“When I saw Ariana Grande on the program, I thought that was a new something at Taco Bell,” he said.

Here is the video:

In an interview with The Associated Press, the Bishop apologized and explained his side on the controversy.

He said it was never his intention to grope or touch a woman’s breast and insisted that he hugged all the performers during the funeral.

“It would never be my intention to touch any woman's breast... I don't know I guess I put my arm around her. Maybe I crossed the border, maybe I was too friendly or familiar but again, I apologize,” he expressed.

“I hug all the female artists and the male artists. Everybody that was up, I shook their hands and hugged them. That's what we are all about in the church. We are all about love,” he further explained.

The preacher also sent apology to Ariana and to her fans for the remarks he made regarding the singer.

Charles said he was just trying to make the funeral a little bit lively since the program was going on for nine hours already.

“I personally and sincerely apologize to Ariana and to her fans and to the whole Hispanic community,” he said.

In a previous article by KAMI, Ariana suspended her World Tour after the deadly bombing that happened to her concert in Manchester, England.

Born on June 26, 1993, Ariana is an American singer and actress who received three American Music Awards, three MTV Europe Music Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, and four Grammy Award nominations.
