Mon Tulfo is currently in hot waters for uploading a video of a minor he took to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) after the vehicle he was riding bumped the child.

The video also shows Tulfo berating and cursing at a doctor of the hospital who was supposedly assessing the child’s condition, as KAMI reported earlier.

KAMI learned that PGH has released an official statement about the incident.

According to the statement, PGH is demanding that Tulfo issue a public apology for his behavior at the hospital and his accusations against the hospital staff on his Facebook.

Here is the official statement of PGH regarding the incident with Tulfo:

“Statement of the Philippine General Hospital Physicians’ Association regarding the events that transpired last August 16 at the PGH Emergency Room

“The Philippine General Hospital Physician’s Association (PGH PA) is a community of physicians which aims to unite its members and protect their rights and welfare as well as foster the development of a responsive healthcare system for the Filipino.

“The PGH PA condemns the contemptible acts of Mr. Ramon Tulfo as his team videotaped the events at the ER triage while he was verbally abusing the staff members on duty as a minor he brought to the ER was being assessed.

“He also uploaded the said video on social media and cited the Triage Officer’s name without his consent, nor did he try to anonymize the people in the video.

“Cyberbullying and doctor shaming are not only punishable by Philippine law, these also demean the healthcare workers’ and patients’ rights to privacy. We stand firm with the PGH community in upholding the rights of our staff, students, and especially the patients whom we serve.”

Tulfo has explained that his outburst was only caused by his concern for the condition of the child.
