- She said she is always thinking and praying about her child’s health
- Iya also gave an advice to other moms about what she thinks is the best thing to do during pregnancy
Kapuso actress Iya Villania bravely responded to criticisms regarding her workout routine during pregnancy.
KAMI learned that the actress is 38 weeks pregnant but still does not stop working out and carrying heavy loads at the gym.
This caused issues for a lot of concerned netizens. Some said that it is very dangerous for Iya to continue her routine and others even suggested that she should take a rest until she gives birth.
The All Star Videoke host, however, cleared the issue and said she is just making the most out of her pregnancy.
"I'm not here to seek attention or make anyone feel bad. Every pregnancy is different for every mama!” she shared.
“I'm just making the most of this pregnancy cause who knows how the next will be (If there will even be a next),” she added.
Iya also assured her followers that she is always praying for her child’s health and making sure that her baby Leon is safe.
"Everyday I'm hoping and praying that Leon is happy, healthy and safe and that everything I'm doing is right. That everything I'm doing is what God wills for me to do,” the actress said.
"All a mama would want is the best for her baby and family, and should anything go wrong, the blame should most definitely not be put on the mother," she explained.
She ended her message by advising other moms about what she thinks is the best thing to do during pregnancy.
"So mamas, you do what you think is best for your baby, your family and yourself! Coz a happy mama is a happy home," Iya concluded.
In a previous article by KAMI, the actress received another round of flak from netizens after doing handstands while pregnant.
Aside from being a host and an actress, Iya is known for being a VJ in the music channel, MYX. She married Drew Arellano in 2014 and gave birth to their first child, Antonio Primo, in 2016.
