10 photos that prove TV networks do not hinder Kapamilya-Kapuso stars’ friendships

ABS-CBN and GMA-7 are undoubtedly two of the biggest and leading networks in the Philippine television industry.
Because of this, it is not impossible for the two channels to clash just to be on top of ratings and prove superiority over the other.
KAMI learned, however, that despite the long-time rivalry, these networks do not impede their produced talents to make friends with anyone even with celebrities on their counterpart network.
These photos show that channels and programs do not hinder friendships between Kapamilya and Kapuso stars:
1. Marian Rivera and Dawn Zulueta
The two Ynang Reyna’s of Encantadia met in an event prior to the launching of the show’s requel. According to the Ang Probinsyano star, the Kapuso Primetime Queen is perfect for the role that she first portrayed.
2. Maine Mendoza with Kim Chiu and Kathryn Bernardo
The two networks’ finest actresses, Maine Mendoza, Kim Chiu, and Kathryn Bernardo, proved that they cannot be hindered by contracts as they were captured together in a fashion show.
3. Gabbi Garcia and Karylle
Gabbi Garcia admitted that she was overwhelmed when Karylle, the original Alena, recognized her in an event that they both attended.
4. Alden Richards and Vice Ganda
Phenomenal Kapamilya star Vice Ganda took a selfie with Pambansang Bae Alden Richards during the 48th Box Office Entertainment Awards. Vice could not hide his admiration to Alden especially when he captioned his post, “Ang gwapo!”
5. Regine Velasquez and ASAP’s Birit Queens
In an anniversary concert by the Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, she shared the stage with Julie Anne San Jose, Aicelle Santos, and Kapamilya’s Birit Queens Angeline Quinto, Jona Viray, and Morissette Amon in singing “In Your Eyes.”
6. Carmina Villaroel and Empoy Marquez
Kapuso actress Carmina Villaroel felt delighted when she met Kapamilya comedian Empoy Marquez. The actress said in her Instagram post that she wants to be friends with Empoy because he is “super funny.”

10. Maine Mendoza and Vice Ganda
Maine Mendoza and Vice Ganda are both hosts of rival noontime show Eat Bulaga and It’s Showtime, respectively, but they proved that they set aside showbiz for friendship as they struck a pose during a night out.
