- Empoy Marquez admitted that his friendship with Alessandra de Rossi is getting deeper
- The actor shared that it is not impossible because being with Alessandra will never make someone bored
- He also said that he loves the actress and that he is ready to accept more serious roles if given the chance
Comedian Empoy Marquez revealed that his friendship with co-star Alessandra de Rossi is currently on the next level after their breakthrough tandem in Kita Kita last year.
KAMI learned through Empoy that the friendship of the two celebrities gets deeper than when they first partnered in the highest-grossing Philippine independent film.
"Sobrang lumalim. Actually doon na kami nag-uusap sa swimming pool, 8 feet, sa ilalim," Empoy mocked during an interview.
Without cracking a joke this time, the actor shared how his friendship with Alessandra gets deeper as time goes by.
"Si Alex kasi sobrang active, hindi ka mabo-bore kapag siya ang kasama mo. Kaya 'yung bonding sa 'Kita Kita,' hanggang ngayon sobrang mas lumalim," he said.
Empoy also falsified the accusation that he has developed special feelings for the Sakaling Hindi Makarating star.
"No!” the actor exclaimed.
“Mas crush ko nga mama niya. Joke lang, Tita, I love you. Si Alex (Alessandra), love ko 'yan, parang baby sister ko 'yan," he added.
When asked about who he wants to partner with in his next movie apart from Alessandra, Empoy did not hesitate to mention Kapamilya leading ladies such as Maja Salvador, Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo, and Angelica Panganiban.
He also said he is ready to accept a more serious role if given the chance.
"Looking forward po ako na magkaroon ng project na ganoon. 'Yan ang hihintayin ko. Kasi big change para sa akin 'yon. Parang magkakaroon ako ng challenge sa sarili ko na gawin yon," the actor shared.
In a previous article by KAMI, Empoy showed his new and stunning two-storey house through a video posted in social media.
Empoy began his acting career as comical sidekick when he first appeared in Mr. Suave in the year 2003. Meanwhile, Alessandra was featured in many independent and mainstream films including Kid Kulafu, in which she played as Aling Dionisia.
The breakthrough love-team recently partnered in the teleserye, Since I Found You which aired its last episode on August 10, 2018.
