A transgender businesswoman decided to file a cyber libel case against comedienne and performer Keanna Reeves.
KAMI learned that food park owner Nancy Dimaranan was deeply offended by the social media video of Keanna slamming and cursing her for not taking her back to Manila after performing at her venue in Laguna.
According to the businesswoman, Keanna’s talent fee was P5,000. She also gave her P1,500 for her travel fee, which was not part of the contract.
Nancy was hurt that Keanna called her “bakla” on social media since her children – who she adopted when they were just babies – started to get mocked in school since their mother is a transgender.
Her foreigner partner, Nick Carnel, also slammed the actress for her comments against his partner. He added that Keanna threatened Nancy and their children.
"I think it's clearly inappropriate, more to the point, she has made threats against Nancy and our children. It's completely wrong, I'm personally distressed and very disappointed," Nick said.
GMA News also reported that Keanna has responded to the filing of the case against her:
Keanna went viral over a decade ago when she admitted that she was private escort girl in the past, with some lawmakers as her customers.
She appeared on shows such as Pinoy Big Brother, Home Sweetie Home, and Todo Max.
The actress was also a part of movies including Wapakman and Shake Rattle & Roll 8.
