A Filipina-Aussie model from Australia is making her mark in the industry as she braved through all the bullying because of her physical disability that did not stop her from rising to the top. Elice Jayne Craig became a national finalist in the 2018 Miss World Australia.
KAMI learned about her success via her Instagram page and her exciting photos that showcase her talent in modeling and hosting.
She told during her interviews with Daily Mail and other news outlets that she used to be called names such as 'cyclops' when she was little and until she grew up, due an eye surgery to led to her left eye's blindness when she was 7. During her hair and makeup, several artists looked down on her when they gestured how embarrassing her left eye is for her.
Through it all, Elice did not give up but just embraced more who she is.
Recently, she hosted a charity event for Variety NSW that raised funds for children who are less fortunate.
Currently, she's also a beauty and clothing endorser due to her unique style and looks and for embracing her physical imperfections that can be seen as her strong assets.
Aside from Miss World, she also joined and represented Australia in Miss Eco International that was held in Cairo, Egypt. Craig also won second-runner up in Miss Teen Australia.
