- Netizens were stunned by the improved version of the iconic FPJ and Susan Roces wedding in 1968
- The restoration process was made possible by FPJ Productions
- The coverage showed the preparation of the bride and her walk towards FPJ on the isle
An improved and digitally-restored footage of the 1968 wedding of “da King” Fernando Poe Jr. and actress Susan Roces is released and now available for public to view.
KAMI learned that the then-black-and-white video was restored by FPJ Productions and posted by Jeffrey Sanora.
The post showed two versions of the video – one is the original and the other is the enhanced footage.
The video began with the preparation of Susan until her walk on the isle while FPJ was waiting at the altar.
The improvement made in the classic wedding’s coverage attracted varied reactions from the netizens.
Other reactions and feedbacks are as follow:
Here is the video:
In a previous article by KAMI, netizens were amused by the “refreshing” face of Susan, then and now.
FPJ, who starred in movies like Ang Panday and Ang Probinsyano, married the “Queen of Philippine Movies” Susan on December 25, 1968. They adopted a daughter who is now Senator Grace Poe.
What will you do if someone walks up to you and your girlfriend in the street and ask you for her number? It’s a pretty awkward situation, isn’t it? You just need to imagine how you would react, while the “victims” of this Philippines prank had to answer this question! – on HumanMeter!
