Nora Aunor revealed something she likes most about the Kapuso Network, being one of its premier actresses.
KAMI learned about this is revelation when she was asked about her experience as an actress in the Kapuso network, although says she has no problem working with the major networks in the country: ABS-CBN, GMA, and TV5.
On August 6th, Nora Aunor's new TV series is airing in the Kapsuo network. Prior to that, a press conference for "Onanay" was held at Le Reve.
According to her, no matter the TV network, it would depend on the artist making the most out of what's given to them.
"Nagkataon lang na dito ako nagkakaroon ng teleserye at dito ako kinukuha. Tapos na rin kasi yung kontrata ko sa TV5."
Her end of contract with TV5 marked another chapter of her career when GMA offered her a transfer to the network to start making a teleserye called "Little Nanay" with Kris Bernal.
She said that her role as a mother in Onanay has quite the same features as that of with Bernal.
"Tulad ng ginawa ko sa Little Nanay, itong storya nito may puso talaga."
Ate Guy also observed the way the industry works nowadays and said during her interviews that differences are only subtle, and everything is almost the same.
"Halos pareho din naman ang kalakaran sa showbiz noon at ngayon."
The Superstar also markedly mentioned another distinction about the Kapuso network.
"May konting pagbabago lang. Halimbawa, kapag may presscon, talagang inaasikaso ng istasyon yung mga artista—pinapagawan ng gamit, kung ano’ng dapat… Noong araw, kanya-kanya."
Nora Aunor, on her part, said that there's nothing more that she could wish for after having worked for the past decades in showbiz.
"Bilang artista, wala na akong pwedeng hanapin pa."
"Dahil unang-una, hindi man lahat, nakagawa na ako ng mga pelikulang importante at magaganda. Pinagmalaki naman natin sa ibang bansa karamihan ng mga ginawa ko at magaganda talaga sila."
"Magagaling 'yung mga direktor na napunta sa akin."
Nora Aunor first started her acting stints with Sampaguita Pictures and from there, her career catapulted in a very unprecedented manner. Many of her known films are "Himala," "Bona," "Taklub," that brought her many citations and awards, to date.
