- Vic Sotto is confident that their new MMFF entry will be good for Maine Mendoza

Vic Sotto along with Coco Martin and Maine Mendoza will be working together on a new MMFF entry project in the this year's movie fest. This stellar film will be one of the biggest productions among the entries, which is titled 'Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles'.
KAMI learned that the Eat Bulaga veteran shared something about Maine's fresh take on her roles in their upcoming movie and what he believes will happen to the AlDub love team, during the said movie's press conference in Cubao on July 28th.
Something fresh for Maine, Vic believes that this role would be totally different from the usual Maine her fans know of.
"It's her first time to do this role so definitely something new for her fans. Hindi yung dating Maine Mendoza na nakikita nila."
In an interview with Pep.ph, Sotto was asked about his take on what's next for AlDub.
"Okay lang naman kung may kanya-kanya silang projects every once in a while.You have to expand yung trabaho mo. Hindi ka limitado sa isang daan lang."
"It's for the good of the artist also," he remarked.
Vic Sotto also thinks that Maine Mendoza, who has been shown tons of fans' support ever since the heyday of AlDub, would not leave showbiz. He said she's the type "who gives back" to the people she loves.
Maine Mendoza is a popular TV icon of GMA who rose to fame because of her role as Yaya Dub in Eat Bulaga. Born Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza, the 23-year-old actress, singer, songwriter and product endorser was already a vlogger who had a lot of following on social media for her sensational Dubsmash videos. Her career took a step higher when she was paired with Alden Richards and established the AlDub love team. Today, Maine remains to be one of the phenomenal actresses in showbiz.
