A fake photo was spotted by Rappler.com when it went viral on social media, which led people to believe something false. The said photo was a demonstration, originally conducted by supporters of the opposition.
KAMI learned about the said viral photo when a concerned netizen by the name of Kenneth Villar warned netizens about the proliferation of edited pics of opposition's demonstrators into pro-Duterte rallies.
According to the said post, the site socialmedia.ph was the original perpetrator behind the fake news, which also happened to have its own social media page on Facebook. The article was captioned, "Itakwil ang dilawan, labanan ang korapsyon."
