Taguig City Metropolitan Trial Court orders Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee, and Jed Fernandez's imprisonment after having been found guilty of grave coercion in a case filed by Vhong Navarro with the said trial court.

Meanwhile, a separate illegal detention case filed by Navarro as well is still ongoing for all the involved in the same incident.

KAMI learned that the city trial court Judge Bernard Pineda Bernal issued a 50-page resolution in relation to the grave coercion case filed by the Showtime host.

On January 22, 2014, the news broke out about Deniece Cornejo making all the buzz about Navarro's attempt to r@pe her on the night he was with her in her condo unit in Taguig city. The said incident involved coercion, incarceration, and assault toward Navarro.

Although the three are found guilty, Cedric's sister Bernice Lee, was also among those involved yet acquitted by the court today.

Atty. Mallonga, Navarro's legal counsel, narrated that Vhong's grave coercion case was based on how Cornejo and peers forced Vhong to sign a police blotter, which indicated the Kapamilya actor's attempted r@pe of Deniece in the same location, in an interview with Pep.ph

The respondents of the case also included in the police blotter their initiative to conduct a citizen arrest of Navarro after alleging of having found a sexu@lly harassing attempt at Cornejo.

Pieces of evidence had also been gathered and used to prove Vhong's truthful claims, which supported the fact that it was the three who initiated the incarceration, beating, and coercion of the actor.

According to Navarro's counsel, the actor is very happy about the issued court order and considers this a monumental step toward attaining justice after the long four-year run of the case docketed in court.

Vhong Navarro is currently with ABS-CBN Network, where he is one of It's Showtime hosts alongside contemporaries like Anner Curtis, Karylle, and Billy Crawford, and Vice Ganda. Navarro is also one of the top leading men in comedic acts, movies, and skits, by big production houses in the Philippines.
