Alden Richards bravely responds to AlDub fans disappointed with him & Maine Mendoza

Kapuso Actor Alden Richards broke silence on his status with Maine Mendoza after reporters brought up the AlDub issue during the Victor Magtanggol Media Conference on July 23.
KAMI learned that the actor said their love team is not yet over despite Maine’s revelation of their true status 3 years ago.
“Lilinawin ko lang po, hindi pa po nagtatapos ang AlDub,” said Alden.
This is in the midst of receiving bashes from people who stopped supporting him due to the issue.
Moreover, the actor was made aware of the rumors questioning him about not considering Maine as his leading lady in the controversial series, Victor Magtanggol.
“We want to apologize (to fans) if a certain need or a certain demand was not met kaya ganun yung reaction nila,” the celebrity heartthrob added.
He also said that it is part of his job as an actor to get used to having different partners on-screen.
“Marami po talagang nag-react na AlDub fans when they learned I’m doing a soap na di si Maine ang ka-partner ko. Pero ito po ang buhay nating artista. Trabaho lang po lahat, walang personalan,” the actor stated.
Alden, however, cleared that he is in good terms with Maine and that they are exploring their respective lives separately.
"So this is more of exploration of Alden, exploration of Maine para pag bumalik na po kami ulit ng proyekto as partner, kakaiba na po ‘yung mapapanood nila coming from the exploration na ginawa po namin individually,” he explained.
"We can be able to do more. Hindi kami nai-stuck kasi we were able to learn as a pair, now we're learning as individuals and then eventually, again, we will learn new things as a pair," Alden added.
