Philippine Press and Movie Club Best Drama Actress for hit teleserye Mula sa Puso (From the Heart), is ending the 15-year hiatus in her career.
Princess Punzalan has returned to her mother network, ABS CBN.
She has gained notoriety in playing Selina in the locally acclaimed soap opera, which ran from 1997 to 1999 and turned into a movie. In 2011, the hit drama series had a remake.

Punzalan migrated in the U.S. in 2005 and has worked as a registered nurse.
In a report by PEP, Punzalan's comeback debut will be for the primetime series The Story topbilled by Kim Chiu and Xian Lim.
In the interview, she said she that her new role is still challenging.
"After the character sketch was sent to me, I got really excited. It's been more than 15 years. My role is still the antagonist but from a different take; that's the challenge for me.”
In the pocket conference prepared by Star Creatives for Punzalan, the award-winning actress also revealed that she will play mother to actor Bryan Santos.
Asked about her long break from showbiz, she said, "I really wanted my family work or my marriage work. It really has to me priority then."
Although fans of Punzalan wished this is a permanent return, the actress revealed that she would stay only as long her character is needed in the soap.
“Before I make any decision, i would have to consult with my husband, i will have to check the time frame.
“Right now, I have somebody to think about before myself."
