There is a rumor going around that Sam Milby broke up with then-girlfriend Mari Jasmine due to the latter’s relationship with female director Samantha Lee.

KAMI learned that the Kapamilya actor broke his silence about the rumor.

According to his interview with ABS-CBN News, there is no truth to the allegation against Mari.

"I'm happy for her. And I want to make it clear, there was no overlapping in terms of that relationship.

"So to clear her name from that, baka may mga iniisip na, 'Ah kaya pala nag-break sila ni Sam,’” the actor said, as quoted by PEP.ph.

He also spoke about his current relationship with his ex-girlfriend.

"We're okay. Hindi naman kami nag-uusap like friends in that sense, but we're okay,” Sam explained.

In a previous report by KAMI, Mari also denied the rumor that he broke up with Sam because she wanted to be in a relationship with a girl.

Sam Milby is an actor for the Kapamilya network. He was part of ABS-CBN teleseryes such as Nathaniel and Doble Kara.

This year, he will star in the new series Ang Halik Mo, along with Jericho Rosales, Yen Santos and Yam Concepcion.
