President Rodrigo Duterte is known for his infamous rants and outbursts during his speeches. However, the President showed a different side during the boxing match between Senator Manny Pacquiao and Argentinian boxer Lucas Matthysse.
KAMI learned that Duterte’s reaction towards the 7th-round technical knockout win of Pacquiao over Matthysse was caught on video.
Duterte attended the fight in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with his son Sebastian "Baste" Duterte and Bong Go.
The video shows the President getting up from his seat, clapping his hands, gesturing towards Pacquiao, and shaking the hands of the person beside him after the fighting senator scored the victory.

Pacquiao registered his 60th win as a professional boxer and won the WBA Welterweight Title by defeating Matthysse, as previously reported by KAMI.
This was also his first knockout victory in nine years.
Some of his possible future opponents include current pound-for-pound kings Terrence Crawford, Mikey Garcia and Vasyl Lomachenko.
