"May dalawa po kasi akong daughters. Isang 27 years old, isang 25”

"Ang nauna pong nag-asawa yung bunso kong anak. Meron po siyang dalawang sons, isang 4-year-old at isang six months. So dalawang lalaki iyan.”

"Yung panganay ko po, nag-asawa a year ago.

Lani’s stepson has noticeably a lighter hair color. She shares that her grandchildren goes with her as she does her grocery shopping.

Given that one of her grandchildren is obviously American and she is Asian, she gets weird stares from people.

"Kasi ganun sa Amerika, e, you can never tell... very ano iyang dukutan... very aware sila.”
