Lani Misalucha is now a grandma of four children. She has 2 kids and are now mothers themselves, each having 2 kids of their own. KAMI could see how happy Lani Misalucha is spending time with her apos through their photos.
She shared more of her journey during the press launch of The Clash.
"May dalawa po kasi akong daughters. Isang 27 years old, isang 25”
"Ang nauna pong nag-asawa yung bunso kong anak. Meron po siyang dalawang sons, isang 4-year-old at isang six months. So dalawang lalaki iyan.”
"Yung panganay ko po, nag-asawa a year ago. Nanganak po siya ng babae. Isa lang po granddaughter ko doon. Pero po, kaya naging apat ang apo ako, meron po siyang stepson."
Lani’s stepson has noticeably a lighter hair color. She shares that her grandchildren goes with her as she does her grocery shopping.
Given that one of her grandchildren is obviously American and she is Asian, she gets weird stares from people.
"Kapag kasama ko yung stepson na yun, medyo naalalangan ako.”
"Kasi pag kasama ko sa Target o sa Walmart, pinagtitinginan kami.”
"Isang Asyana at isang Amerikano—baka iniisip nung iba na kinidnap ko."
"Kasi ganun sa Amerika, e, you can never tell... very ano iyang dukutan... very aware sila.”
"Buti na lang ang tawag niya sa akin is grandma, e, kung ang tawag niya sa akin is lola.”
"Baka hindi nila alam, maintindaihan, baka pangalan lang ng tao yun, di ba?”
"Pero yung tatlo ko pong grandchildren, lola ang tawag sa akin."
Child abduction cases has happened in America too many times, thus, parents are more vigilant on the safety of children.
Lani Misalucha is Filipino singer born in 1969. She can sing different genres pop, rock, jazz, soul, rhythm and opera. Her ability to sing different genres gave her the title “Asia’s Nitingale”She is based in US but recently returned in Manila after GMA offered her to be one of the judges of the show, The Clash.
