A video of Gilas Pilipinas player Calvin Abueva allegedly starting the pre-game conflict with Australia Boomers has gone viral.
KAMI learned that Calvin is being accused of tripping Australia’s Daniel Kickert before the game even started.
According to Spin.ph, Fox Sports Australia reported that Daniel attacked Matthew Wright in the pre-game since he thought that the latter was the one who tripped him, when it was actually Calvin who supposedly did it.

The infamous brawl occurred during the third quarter of the game, when Australia was leading by 31 points.
When Australia’s Daniel Kickert had a physical altercation with Roger Pogoy, the other Gilas players tried to defend their teammate.
There are speculations that the Gilas team might be suspended by FIBA due to the unfortunate incident.
