KAMI learned that a netizen made a comment implying that her act of kindness is all 'publicity.'
Anne posted a photo on her Instagram account wherein she was seen collecting change from passengers during a Cebu Pacific flight to Cagayan de Oro, which was shared by Fashion Pulis.
"On last night’s flight from CDO I personally went around collecting change from the passengers for the Change for Good program of @unicefphils and @cebupacificair I was able to collect 3 full bags! Salamat sa Lahat ng passengers and thank you for renewing this program with us!
"I truly hope this becomes a LIFETIME partnership! To all CEBUPAC passengers, next time you’re on a flight and the lovely F.A’s come around with this bag know that you are helping children that benefit from the first 1000 days program of UNICEF Your loose change goes a looooooong way. Salamat po!"
A netizen pointed out that instead of collecting money from low income citizens, Anne should just donate money from her own pocket.

"Maka comment talaga mga tao ngayon. And how about also using your own social media account to at least spread awareness on how to extend help to those who need it? Kung wala ka talagang maitulong monetarily."
"Huhu kaiyak yung mga tao ngayon. I just read a syory about sa scholar ni anne na naka graduate na. And take note.. from miriam college pa na mahal ang tuition ha. Grabe naman mga tao ngayon"
"ang soc med talaga naging venue ng mga taong walang makitang mabuti sa gawain ng ibang tao, tsk tsk"
"Grabe my kapwa pilipino. Hinay hinay lang naman sa pag cocomment lalo na sa mga celebs na muka naman genuine ang pag tulong. Si Anne, Unicef lang yung madalas nyang ipost na charity nya because ambassador sya dun. Pero she has her own charity that she rarely post. Kaya alam kong genuine syang mabait and not for show off lang"
"daming mema na mga tao. puro lang naman social media. i'm sure these people don't even donate to charities. lately, kakabwisit na ang mga entitled netizens na kala mo ke-gagaling sa tunay na buhay."
Anne Curtis was born on February 17, 1985 in Australia. She is the eldest daughter of Carmen Ojales, a Filipina and James Smith, an Australian lawyer.
