-The Los Angeles Lakers plot to sign James, George, and Leonard to their team
-The possibility of LeBron James joining the LA Lakers is not far from reality
-The LA Lakers is the leading team where LeBron James might join
NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers are planning to form their own Big 3, and that is possible if they recruit the strongest players like Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Paul George, and San Antonio Spurs’ Kawhi Leonard.
According to Kevin Pelton of ESPN, the Los Angeles Lakers would like to have James, George, and Leonard on their team. The ESPN insider shared that LA Lakers can achieve it if they have the money, especially the financial focus must be on LeBron and Paul who are both free agents.
The insider said that LeBron’s maximum salary is around $35.4 million while Paul’s estimated salary is $30.3 million. Los Angeles will have to spend over $65 million which leave them no other option but to trade one of their players like Luol Deng.
Pelton added that having the perfect timing is what Los Angeles Lakers also need to pull off the Big 3 that they are aiming this summer. Before signing a free agent, a trade should happen first or else; it can lead to forfeiture of the crucial financial trading piece.
There are also reports saying that if Kawhi Leonard doesn’t get the $219 million super-max extensions from the San Antonio Spurs, there is a possibility that he would ask to be traded to LA and might trigger LeBron and Paul to join too.
