- The 18-time All-Star player revealed that everything is just tongue-in-cheek
- Kobe disclosed his relationship with Golden State Warriors’ general manager
All-Star player Kobe Bryant unveiled that the rumor about his un-retiring is just tongue-in-cheek. The rumor began after the general manager of Golden State Warriors Bob Myers offered the Black Mamba a spot in the team if he wanted to go back to the hard court.
According to ABS-CBN Sports, Kobe Bryant revealed on The HoopsHype Podcast that Bob Myers’ offer is not serious. He also added that they had known each for a long time. He knew Myers even before he became the general manager of the Warriors. The Black Mamba shared that during his ultimate All-Star game, he and Myers were able to catch up and congratulated each other.
Kobe also disclosed that if he ever changed his mind about his retirement, Myers will welcome him on Golden State Warriors, but the 18-time All-Star player knew that the general manager’s statement is not intended.
Before ending his NBA career, Kobe Bryant showed who he is by leaving an average of 1.4 steals, 4.7 assists, 5.2 rebounds, and 25.0 points.
Kobe Bryant spent most of his NBA career with Los Angeles Lakers. After 20 years of playing on the hard court as a shooting guard, the Black Mamba decided to retire last 2016.
