Juancho Trivino denied that he uses Maine Mendoza to have the spot light on him. On the press conference of his new show, the Kapuso actor said that he is good friends with the phenomenal host-endorser.
To clear out the issue, Juancho decided to take it to his Twitter account to address the undying issue between him and the Eat Bulaga host. Some of Maine's fans are accusing him of using their idol to make some noise about his new TV show.
According to the actor, they are “close” to each other and they belong to the same circle of peers. He added that all of his friends are special. He also expressed confusion on why the issue linking him to the actress doesn’t die down.
Juancho earlier admitted that he feels embarrassed that Maine's name gets dragged every time there is an issue about him, especially when some fans get out of hand on social media.“Pero ako mismo nga, nahihiya na po sa kanila… Nadadamay ang pangalan nila everywhere I go. Yung mga post ko sa Instagram [bina-bash],” he said.
The newbie Kapuso leading man will join the dtama 'Inday Will Always Love You'. He will star it alongside Barbie Forteza, Derrick Monasterio, Nova Villa, Manilyn Reynes, Ricky Davao, and Gladys Reyes. It will air in the Kapuso network starting May 21.
