Let's get it on! Said no ACE Hardware store ever.

ACE Hardware Corp, one of the leading supplies store in the Philippines, denied any involvement in event that went viral on social media, Suntukan sa Ace Hardware.

ACE Hardware sent a message to GMA News Online, saying: "Please be informed that no such event created nor organized by Ace Hardware." They have also responded to several netizens concerning queries on how to get the SM Lucena, the place where the imaginary fistfight was to be held.

"Ace Hardware does not condone nor tolerate violence of any kind. Please be guided accordingly."

The event is to be held on April 15, 2016 at 3pm in ACE Hardware of SM City Lucena, and was created by the Facebook Page Bulbulito Balagbag: tuberong kulay green. The photo used was the front of an ACE Hardware store with photoshopped images of teens punching each other.

As of now, around 1:30pm Thursday, March 31, 2016, 33,299 people are interested, 50,322 are going, and 47,847 have invited other friends to 'join.'

Not long after “Suntukan sa Ace Hardware” went viral, other “suntukan” and odd events sprouted online such as the “Suntukan sa Sherwood” in Manila on April 7, “Banatan ang mga Swagg, Fuckboi at Breezy sa EDSA corner Shaw, tapat ng Shang!” on April 30, and “Group Study sa SOGO hotel” also on April 30.

The news spread among netizens and many others quickly jumped onto the bandwagon, but what was notable about the people going was that most of them were fictional characters.

Although the event is supposedly a joke, many people have also been confused as to whether or not the events would turn out to be real.
