Although Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Ogie Alcasid are considered music icons, they try to make him stay grounded as possible.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Regine was asked if Nate is aware that his parents are very well known personalities in showbiz.
According to the Asia's Songbird, she does not think Nate is aware entirely about what they do but they try to expose him as often as possible.
The couple brings Nate during their concerts and he witnessed people asking for a picture with them.
The couple always tried to explain that they are not rich and that his parents are working hard to give him everything he needs.
Regine also believes he does not have any reason to think highly of himself just because of his parents' status.
As for Nate's attitude in school, Regine revealed he acts just like a normal kid but the singer will not stop guiding him to stay humble as he grow up.
Regina Velasquez is a Filipino singer, actress and record producer.
