A young man who recently graduated from the University of Makati is now thanking all of his suki for helping him.

Yes, they were the ones buying the "sponges" or "ispongha" in dialect, the income from which he utilizes for his tuition fees.

This young man, Melvin Chua, took the time to thank his patrons.

KAMI saw that the said man started selling sponges when he was still in elementary.

Because of his hardwork and dedication, he was able to sell a lot of sponges, and he was able to pay for his tuition fees.

In Definitely Filipino, it reported that Melvin didn't see his small business as a burden, rather, it was a way for him to be able to help his parents one day.

He also narrated that after his graduation, he once more sold sponges so that he could thank all his "suki" personally.

Here's his message of thanks to all his suki:

"MGA SUKI! GAGRADUATE NA PO AKO! MARAMING SALAMAT PO SA INYONG LAHAT! MAHAL NA MAHAL KO KAYO! GOD BLESS YOU ALL. DAHIL SA PAGLALAKO, NAKATAPOS AKO NG KOLEHIYO. NOW THE FIRST COLLEGE GRADUATE IN THE FAMILY. THANK YOU LORD!

I really wanna tell them how thankful I am to all of them as they really contributed a lot and played a big role in my life for almost 13 years. Yes!! They witnessed my elementary, high school, and now my college Graduation.

Luckily, I was able to meet and thank personally some of them.

Super thank you po!!

Sila: Wow! Congratulations! Ang galing mo. Maliit ka pa dati. Elementary ka pa. Ngayon Gagraduate ka na sa College. So proud of you! Office management ka diba?

Ako: Opo! Thank you po. BS in OFFICE MANAGEMENT PO.

Sila: Galing mo! Galingan mo ah. Congrats sayo! Wag mo kaming kakalimutan.

My heart filled with so much love and joy after hearing all their “Congratulations!” and “So Proud of You”. I know to myself I was able to thank them and show them my gratefulness for their kindness.

And as I end this remarkable journey, ito yung araw na hinding hindi ko kayo malilimutang pasalamatan. From the bottom of my heart.

I am sharing this because I just can’t celebrate alone the success I made without sharing it to all of you.

Ano mang achievement ang maabot ko sa buhay, I will always be proud of it.

I will always include you in my prayers. May God continue to bless, protect and love you all. All praises to you God!. Maraming salamat po."
