- Ryan Bang said that he was given an offer from SBS to host a variety show in South Korea
- However, he declined the offer
- The actor-host explained that he loved “It’s Showtime” and the Philippines too much
Ryan Bang revealed during a press conference that he was given a huge offer by the Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) network to be a regular host on its variety show.
KAMI learned that the Korean actor-host declined the offer.
According to PEP.ph, Ryan felt regret after declining the offer.
However, he was able to overcome his regret after getting a chance to be the leading man in Kim Chiu’s latest movie.
According to Ryan, he declined the offer because of his love for “It’s Showtime” and the Philippines.
“Nung time na yun kasi bata pa ako nung time na yun. Saka mahal ko talaga yung It’s Showtime. Kapag tinanggap ko kasi yun, kailangan umalis ako ng Pilipinas at doon na ako habambuhay kasi regular ako dun,” he explained.
Kim and Ryan’s movie, “Da One That Ghost Away,” is a horror comedy.
The film also stars Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber.
Aside from the movie, Ryan is also a regular host on “It’s Showtime.”
