Neri Naig has become a successful entrepreneur after becoming inactive in showbiz.

KAMI learned that she gave some important tips on how she was able to save money.

In her blog, -- https://nerimiranda.wordpress.com/blog/ -- Neri admitted to not knowing how to handle money in the past.

“Kung nakikita nyo ngayon na Wais Na Misis na ang peg ko, maniwala kayo, bago ako matutong magbudget at mag-ipon, malala ako sa pera, baka mas malala pa ako kaysa sa inyo,” she revealed.

She said that the biggest mistake for many people is that they do not live within their means in order to feed their ego.

Eh di go!

“MALI. MALING MALI,” she explained.

According to Neri, Chito taught her to spend just a small part of her earnings and to save most of it.

Neri is also thankful that there are not too many malls in Tagaytay, where she, Chito and their son reside.

Neri has been married to Parokya Ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda since 2013.

They have a son named Miguel Alfonso.

The celebrity couple has a Kimchi restaurant, a bakeshop, an ukay-ukay and a gourmet tuyo store.
