Motherhood is physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausting, especially for first time moms.

It's very important that they get love and support from their husbands, and even, other family members.

But when Bangs Garcia relocated to the United Kingdom, after marrying Lloyd Birchmore, they were left to take care of their firstborn on their own.

Bangs gave birth to Amelia on December 5, 2017 in England.

The new mom admitted to PEP that she was overwhelmed as she looked after her baby alone.

"There are no yayas here in UK," said Bangs to PEP.

Fortunately, she has her very supportive husband with her. Because Lloyd was self-employed, he chose not to work for a whole month and dedicated his time to attending to the needs of both Bangs and Baby Amelia.

"We would wake up every hour or two to feed and soothe Amelia from crying. Lloyd was mostly the one who carried her whenever she woke up in the middle of the night for almost a month so I could recover quickly," shared Bangs.

Lloyd also took them out every weekend, making sure Bangs won't get bored at home alone with the baby.

"I am very blessed to have a very thoughtful and loving husband. I guess if he isn't like that, I'd probably go through postpartum depression," confessed Bangs.

Bangs admitted the first few days after her delivery via cesarian section was the toughest.

She said she experienced a "little bit of baby blues" especially when her hormones were going "extremely crazy".

"It is mind over matter, plus a supportive husband would really mean a lot. Communication is very important, all husbands should know when to pay attention to their wife's needs," said Bangs.

The actress added that having Baby Amelia also strengthened their bond as husband and wife.

"We have learned to appreciate each other more in a deeper level and we are very much driven now to turn all of our dreams into reality," said Bangs.

For Bangs and Lloyd, parenthood is teamwork.

"Nothing is impossible to handle when the two of you know how to compromise, communicate, and be sensible with each other's feelings," said Bangs.

Their third was a beach wedding in Boracay on January 24, 2017.

The couple got engaged in January 2016 in Boracay.
