Morissette Amon is ecstatic as she took her mom on a tour in Athens, Greece.
The singer said it's a dream come true for both of them to be in the European country.
"Sobrang dream come true para sa amin ni Mommy ang makapunta dito," said Morissette on her Instagram post.
Morissette is part of the Global Pinoy Singing Idol event by DZMM and TFC. She performed in the Gazi Music Hall in Athens, Greece.
After the show, Morissette took the opportunity to take in the sights of the historical city.
According to Morissette, the weather in Athens was perfect.
"Our favorite kind of weather, malamig pero maaraw."
She had a lot of fun shopping for souvenirs, Gladiator-style.
They also toured Arachova, a little town on the Greek mountains.
They also visited the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, Greece. Unfortunately, because they went during the country's Independence Day, the popular attraction was closed for the day.
They still had fun taking breathtaking photos, though.
Of course, a trip to Athens would not be complete without visiting the famous and historical Acropolis.
Morissette had a grand time in the marvelous place.
The Parthenon may be under restoration, but it's still magnificent.
Cebu-native Morissette first rose to prominence when she finished runner-up on TV5's Star Factor at the age of 14.
She joined the first season of ABS-CBN's The Voice of the Philippines in 2013. She was part of Sarah Geronimo's team.
