- Heart Evangelista commented in a live chat about being traumatized by a bully
- Some netizens speculated that she was referring to Marian Rivera
- Heart made some clarifications about her viral comments
During an Instagram live chat, Heart Evangelista reportedly opened up about being traumatized after she got bullied.
KAMI learned that many netizens suspected that she was referring to the alleged incident with Marian Rivera seven years ago.
According to the rumors, Marian allegedly locked Heart in a comfort room for an unspecified reason.
The tabloid Bulgar reported that Heart was indeed talking about Marian in the IG live chat, PEP.ph reported.
“I’m not afraid anymore. I’m coming out ‘coz I’m not afraid anymore…
“I have moved on... but some things are too traumatizing to forget…
“Let’s love each other, stop the hate,” Heart said, according to Bulgar.
In an interview with Heart, the Kapuso star said that her comments were not about Marian, nor were they about the bully, but about what she learned from the bullying experience.
"IT'S NOT ABOUT HER…
“At the end of the day, it’s not about who did it to me.
“It’s about what I went through and how I’ve grown stronger from this traumatizing experience.
“I simply shared this for a bigger picture—a stand against bullying and harassment.
“I want to inspire others and let them know that they shouldn’t be afraid to speak up and not allow themselves to be victims…
“I didn’t mention any names because this isn’t about her,” Heart told PEP.ph.
Heart got married to Senator Chiz Escudero on February 15, 2015.
They got married despite the objection of Heart’s parents, who initially did not approve of the senator as their daughter’s lifetime partner.
Fortunately, the two parties eventually reconciled.
Heart said last year that 2018 might be the year that she finally becomes pregnant and that this will be her project with Chiz.
KAMI agrees with Heart that all forms of bullying should be stopped!
