- Inspiring story of an OFW in Bahrain who got lucky with her kind employer
- She's also thankful to her very supportive husband
- Their family was able to invest on a decent home
Our letter sender is from Bheng Gemal, married, and has 3 children.
Bheng decided to work abroad because their family income was not enough.
Her husband works as a carpenter and she used to cook "ulam" and "kakanin" at home to help generate income.
Their earnings were not enough despite all their effort so she tried her luck abroad.
She is now working in Bahrain and recalls how small her first salary was.
After working for 5 years she is now earning a decent salary and was able to invest a home for her family.
Her husband supports her in every way, giving great importance to her hard-earned money.
Bheng also reminded her fellow OFWs to always save money because your goal is to stay with your family for good.
