Yeng Constantino definitely wants a baby--but believes that it will happen when it's meant to happen.
The singer and hitmaker said in an interview that she and her husband, Yan Asuncion don't really rush things out, saying that they are still enjoying each other's company, just the two of them.
However, she admitted that they have had talks about starting a family already, but not anytime soon.
“Siguro in the near future,” she said.
When asked if she feels the pressure of having kids soon, Yeng revealed that it's awkward when some people ask them when they will have a baby.
“Parang ayokong mabuo ‘yung baby out of pressure eh,” she said. “Baka mabugnutin ‘pag lumabas - parang, ‘’Bat ba ‘ko nandito? I’m not supposed to be here.’ Baka ma-feel niya ‘yun, spiritually, somehow.”
“Gusto ko mabuo ‘yung baby namin because we love each other and we have fun being together,” Yeng continued.
Yeng opened up about her family life in her recent guesting in “Tonight With Boy Abunda” where she shared that she and her husband really want to have kids and hopes that their second honeymoon in Croatia will set the right mood.
When asked if she preferred to have a baby boy or girl, Yeng answered, “Kahit ano’ng ibigay ng Panginoon, boy or girl, okay sa ‘kin ‘yan lahat. Biyaya ang mga sanggol sa mundong ito.”
She and her husband, fellow musician Yan Ascuncion has been married since 2015.
