Regular mall goers thought there was a movie shooting happening, as a man in policeman uniform bends his knee and asked the question 'Will you marry me?'
What they didn't know is that PO1 Rutherford D. Echivarre of the Davao City Police is making his dreams come true as he proposes to his girlfriend, Giem Cristy Tumala, who was just getting off work at the same mall.
PO1 Rutherford planned everything and conspired with his fellow policemen. As seen on the video which is now viral on Facebook, Giem will be in the center of the parking lot as motorcycles drive around her, all their warning lights and signals on.
After the exhibition, riders of the motorcycles revealed a banner, which reads " "Will you marry me?"
PO1 Rutherford came out of nowhere and went directly to his stunned girlfriend. Bending one knee, he popped up a ring, and asked the question to his girlfriend of 8 years.
To everybody's delight, she said yes.
Speculators and passers by couldn't help but feel happy and touched by the gesture, expressing their congratulatory messages to the newly engaged couple.
PO1 Rutherford and Giem are to tie the knot this May.
