Cherie Gil took to social media to express her sorrow over the death of former actor Rolly Quizon.

KAMI learned from Cherie’s post that Rolly was actually her first love.

“He passed away.. so soon.. so young.. reminding me of what once was.. between us..

“I will never forget.. the first experience, the life of wantonness, my first love..

“If only you knew then.. what you were to me.. until now.. that moulded me.. to who and what I am..

“I thank you Rolly I always and will cherish you in my life… Rest up now,” the actress wrote.

Here are the reactions of netizens in the comment section of Fashion Pulis towards Cherie’s post:

“they were together in Cherie's launching movie BUBOT NA BAYABAS sa regal........so touching message”

“Naging sila pala ni Cherie. Siya rin siguro yung inspiration ni Cherie behind her only hit song na I Love You Boy noong late 70's. Yes I'm old and proud!”

“siya ung nasa john en marsha? RIP... kakamatay din nung isa pang brother nila na si DIno.”

Rolly was one of the sons of the late comedy legend Dolphy.

He passed away last week after suffering a stroke and slipping into a coma on March 9.

The former actor starred in “John and Marsha” and “Burlesk Queen,” according to ABS-CBN News.

KAMI is hoping that Rolly’s loved ones would find comfort in this time of sorrow.
