Shaniah Rollo had never joined a singing competition before, but she's now set to wow the world after she qualified for the semifinals of Ireland's Got Talent.

The 13-year-old got a standing ovation during her audition when she sang True Colors by Cindy Lauper.

After her stunning performance, she trended on Twitter and was called "teenage sensation" and "new singer in Ireland".

Shaniah is the youngest contestant and the only Filipino on the show.

Ayaw ko pong ma-disappoint sila," said Shaniah in an ABS-CBN report.

According Shaniah's mother, Shaniah moved to Ireland two years ago.

Parang overwhelmed," said her mother.

Shaniah's parents are both musicians working in different countries. Her father is a musician in Ireland.

Her older sister is also a singer.

Shaniah said she joined the competition because she wants to help her parents. She also hopes her siblings can join them in Ireland.

Their family hails from Bicol.

Even at this early stage, Shaniah is receiving invitations to appear in TV shows in Ireland and the Philippines.

The semifinal round of the first Ireland's Got Talent will start soon.

The Filipina's audition aired on the first episode in February 2018.

The winner will receive €50,000 or roughly P3.26 million.
