Alex Gonzaga has admitted that her elder sister Toni Gonzaga is more famous and successful than her in show business.
However, KAMI learned that Alex does not feel bad about it at all.
In contrary, she is thankful for her sister’s success because that is what brought her into showbiz and because Toni shares her blessings with all of her loved ones, PEP.ph reports.
“Siguro iba-iba naman talaga ang tao, kumbaga. So, may kanya-kanyang oras o time.
“May kanya-kanya ring way kung paano ka i-bless ni Lord. So you just have to be contented and you just have to maximize or utilize whatever God gives you.
“At least ako, dahil sa ate ko kaya ako nakapasok sa showbiz. Never kong iniisip yun [as negative].
“Kung ano yung success ng ate ko or fame nun, lahat sini-share niya sa amin yun.
“Never naging selfish ang ate ko. Hindi ko iisipin na kung hindi ko siya naging kapatid...
“I would never, ever, think of that because I love Toni G., 'cause Toni G. is the best ano [sister].
“Totoo, Toni, my sister, has been the most generous, most supportive, sharing person I’ve ever met. I would never ever think that way."
Alex also admitted that she sometimes get into arguments with Toni.
“Siyempre, lahat naman ng magkakapatid, nag-aaway.
“So, I think, kami ng ate ko, we’re just normal na nag-aaway rin kami. Nagkakainisan din kami.
“Ngayon lang kasi na matanda na kami [madalang na]... hindi naman yung matandang-matanda.”
Alex and Toni are the children of Carlito and Crisanta Gonzaga.
Toni is married to director Paul Soriano and has a child named Severiano.
On the other hand, Alex is in a relationship with Mikee Yambao.
