A netizen shared a touching story of a boy who adopted a stray dog so that he would have a family to call as his own.
KAMI found the story shared by Maria Kabs in Definitely Filipino about this 11-year-old boy and his "adopted" dog.
According to the post, Maria was just walking near GMA Network Complex in Quezon City when he saw the kid hugging and playing with his dog.
As she was touched by the scene, she took photos of the two buddies and also went out of her way to interview the little boy.
The boy, Rommel Quemenales, found the puppy simply roaming in the streets.
When he felt that just like him, the puppy also doesn't have any family, he took the puppy in and named it as Badgi.
Thereafter, he treated the dog like his own brother.
According to the boy, he used to have a family when he was still young but his parents separated and he ended up living alone in the streets.
At times, if he would ahve some money, he would be visiting his sister working in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
After visiting his sister, he would still come back to Quezon City as the streets there have already become his home.
May people see the plight of Rommel and some help could be given to him.
