Queenie Padilla and her husband Usama Mir decided to reveal exciting details about their relationship in their new YouTube videos.
KAMI learned that the two got to know each other online.
According to Queenie, she fell in love with Usama because of his passion for Islam, his love for his family, and his selflessness.
As for what makes a successful marriage, Usama said that respect and mutual understanding are vital.
"Like if there is no understanding, there is no love. If there is no understanding, there is no respect. And the respect is the first step to fall in love with someone,” he said, as quoted by GMA Entertainment.
Usama also revealed that their cultural differences cause some debates once in a while.
“Cultural difference. Like when she feels like something weird happened, I explain to her.
“Application of that thing is different here as compared to your culture. I try to make her understand that it's not the same as you think,” he explained.
The second video shows the husband and wife talking about how many kids they want, their favorite color, and their travels.
Queenie and Usama have been married for over four years now.
Last year, Usama was finally able to meet Queenie’s father – actor Robin Padilla – for the first time.
Robin’s daughter gave birth to her first child in July 2017.
