Vin Abrenica has confirmed that his elder brother Aljur Abrenica asked Robin Padilla for his daughter Kylie Padilla’s hand in marriage, which is known in the Philippines as “pamamanhikan.”

KAMI learned that Robin was very warm and welcoming towards the Abrenica family.

According to, the specific details of the wedding have not yet been discussed.

It’s a wonderful experience, first time sa family namin.

“Hindi ko ma-explain as a Filipino, ganun pala. Parang, ‘Wow!’ Super happy talaga.”

“Lahat nagkasundo, as in during dinner, lahat nag-uusap-usap lahat. Hindi pa makapag-sink in na, ‘Wow, this will be our family, ito family natin itong lahat.’

“Ang sarap sa pakiramdam! Sobrang saya ko na nadagdagan yung family, na I can call Robin my dad.

Before Aljur and his family visited Robin’s family, there was a supposed conflict between Aljur and Robin.

The conflict reportedly began when Aljur and Kylie decided not to heed Robin’s request that they get married before the latter gave birth to their first baby.

Fortunately, all is now well between the two Kapamilya actors.
