- These celebrity singers were not able to suppress what they truly feel while singing on stage
- Most of them turned emotional while singing a song about a loved one who already passed away
- Some of them cried because they were actually performing with someone close to their hearts
Aside from a good quality of voice, a singer can be considered a good one if they were able to convey what their song really means.
Some of them, while delivering the message of their songs turned really emotional.
KAMI learned from ABS-CBN that these singers made a heartfelt renditions of their songs where they could not help their true emotions while performing.
1. Angeline Quinto
During her ASAP performance of "Dance with my father" she really broke down to tears because it was just 3 weeks after her dad passed away last 2013
2. Regine Velasquez
During her R30 concert, she paid tribute to her dad, 'Mang Gerry'. In the middle of the song " First Man of my life", she really need to compose herself back for keeps on crying while remembering her dad while singing.
3. Anne Curtis
In one of the series of shows she had in California last 2013, she was joined by her father James, where they sang 'Moon River'. Tears fell down from Anne's eyes for it was actually Father's day.
4. Nadine Lustre
Nadine dedicated the song 'Kanlungan' to her late grandmother during their concert last February of 2016. By the end of the song, she was still crying.
5. Sarah Geronimo
As she thanked her fans as farewell of her weekly concert show, "Sarah G live", Sarah really cried while singing her first hit song "Forever's not enough"
6. Sharon Cuneta
The Megastar really turned emotional while singing The Carpenters' song 'You'. She was on ASAP to promote her movie last September 2017.
7. Charice now known as Jake Zyrus
Jake Zyrus, formerly known as Charice was at the peak of her career that time when she sang "Maghintay ka lamang'. It was a song about waiting for the right time, and she really cried while singing because she really felt the message of the song.
8. Moira dela Torre
In her guesting on Gandang Gabi Vice, Moira sang 'Sanan Ngayong Pasko' and cried for it was her first Christmas without her 'Lola'.
This is to pay tribute to Aubrey So and to all who suffered from Depression. We should be aware of this condition for this can really take the lives of our loved ones.
