During last Sunday’s episode of “Gandang Gabi Vice,” Vice Ganda shared that he once courted a girl before.
Vice Ganda is known for her quick wit and smart comebacks. He got his big break by hosting and judging the noon show “It’s Showtime.” On his latest episode for his late night TV show on ABS-CBN, the TV personality reminisced on his past and what he has accomplished thus far.
His friends from college surprised Vice on the show. Syric Pagsanhan and Paolo Ponciano joined in on the fun as they went back to memory lane. Another one of their classmate was introduced on the show – Atty. Michelle Duenas.
Paolo told the story of how he became the bridge between Vice and his ‘crush.’ He shared, “nung first year, second semester, meron siyang crush nun kaya lang para siyang undecided. Tapos inutusan niya akong bigyan ng bulaklak yung girl na yun.” (During our first year, second semester, he had a crush but he was undecided. Then he asked me to give flowers to that girl.
That girl was no other than Atty. Michelle Duenas. Michelle also shared that Vice gave her a love letter. She said, “in fairness, magaling magsulat ng love letter si Vice.” (In fairness, Vice is good at writing a love letter.)
Syric also shared the story of how they found out that Vice Ganda was gay. Vice’s friend recalled, “So nagpunta kami sa isang resort sa Malolos. Then ginabi kami doon, then hindi naman kami pwede mag-overnight nagtransfer kami sa isang motel. Tatlo kami. Tapos eto nung matutulog na kami, si Vice naglabas ng pouch bag. So yung pouch na yun, nandun yung mga gamit niya, nilabas niya yung Chin Chun Su. So nagpahid siya ng Chin Chun Su sa mukha niya.” (So we went to a resort in Malolos. Then it was already late and we couldn’t stay overnight there so we transferred to a motel. We were three. Then when we were about to sleep; Vice took out a pouch bag. He has everything in that pouch, and then he took out Chin Chun Su. He smeared the Chin Chun Su in his face.) That’s how he found out that he’s an “X-men.”
