A patient who could no longer contain his frustration, took to social media to express his disdain over Kabankalan District Hospital in Negros Occidental.
KAMI saw in PhilNews that the staff were allegedly busy with their cellphones, rather than busy with giving their patients due care.
According to the post of Facebook user Kirito ThreeFour Tanilon, the said hospital provided gave poor quality service.
It was his father who was brought to the hospital because of an injury he got from a motorcycle accident.
Aside from saying that the staff were incompetent, he also pointed out that it took about 23 minutes before the nurses gave attention to his father who was already suffering from his wounds.
Some netizens commented that this is usually common in public hospitals. Others went about sharing their bad experiences in the said hospital.
Van Jethro Adolfo stated that this allegation was indeed true.
"This alligation is indeed true based on my experience. We used to live nearby this hospital before and inatake ng allergy ang sister ko which she already turned very pale and having trouble breathing. Having no choice dito namin dinala sister ko since it was an emergency and when we arrived to the ER nurses was very incompetent and ayaw nilang turukan ng gamot sis ko unless otherwise mag bayad muna kami etc. My sis was nearly unconscious and our eldest was very mad so he have to go at the bank to withdraw but leaving them a word na pag may nangyaring masama sa sis namin we will sue every staff at the ER. Probably natakot so pagbalik namin naturukan na nila ng gamot and she was gradually regaining her consciousness. Aside from that dami naming narinig na negative about this hospital most esp at the ER. I just feel bad sa mga naka ranas ng poor public service na to."
