Emmanuel Rabulan is from Victoria, Oriental Mindoro. Before he became an OFW, he and his wife used to have a fruit stand which earned uptp 10,000 pesos a day.
KAMI learned from OFW Tambayan that Emmanuel saw an opportunity to work in Italy.
Because of the higher possible income, Emmanuel sold his minivan and closed their business so he could have money to process his papers going abroad.
Unfortunately, the job was actually a scam.
He did not even arrived in Italy, they were left in Qatar by their illegal recruiter.
Since he was already in Qatar, he did waste his time. he washed dishes in different restaurants.
He also sell fruits to have money to buy his airfare back home.
Emmanuel was able to go back here in the Philippines but he also decided to leave to Qatar.
He worked as a janitor there but his earning is not enough to support his family back home, so he decided to sell 'Adobong Mani' in the market.
He's at the Al Batha market from 5pm to 10pm every night to sell his goods.if he's lucky, he earns as much as 700 riyals or 9,200 pesos just the same amount of his salary as a janitor.
In recognition of his harwork, dedication and sacrifices for his family, he was awarded as an outstanding OFW and BAlikbayan Reputaion award in 2012.

Based on his Facebook account, he now works as a store Keeper in Prince Sultan Cardiac Center still in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
