- Erich plays three characters on the drama
Erich Gonzales was overwhelmed with emotion after her The Blood Sisters co-stars heaped praises about her dedication and professionalism as an actress.
PEP was present during the thanksgiving media event for the new Kapamilya teleserye The Blood Sisters.
Erich was thanking the press, their viewers, the production staff, and her co-stars for their never-ending support for the first week of the new drama series.
"Playing three characters po is not easy, pero kapag natetext na po sa akin 'yung ratings o di kaya nakakabasa po ako ng magagandang reviews, positive na feedback, sobrang nawawala po lahat ng pagod," said Erich.
But in the middle of her speech, Erich's voice started breaking as she struggled to contain her tears.
"Sobrang thank you po sa inyong lahat. Grabe. Thank you lang talaga. Bakit parang nakakaiyak?" said Erich when she finally let her tears go.
Before her speech, PEP said her co-stars praised her one by one, which contributed to her overwhelmed emotions.
"Kasi kayo, may parang pa-tribute naman!" said Erich to her co-stars.
The new teleserye opened to soaring ratings and positive feedback on February 12. It is topbilled by Erich.

After the event, PEP interviewed Erich and this is what she had to say to her co-stars' praise:
"Papuri? Unang-una 'yung mga co-actors ko, sobrang grateful din ako sa kanila. Like what I've said di lang ako ito, di ko ito magagawa without their help also, without their support. Nakakataba ng puso, di ko ine-expect 'yung, sabi ko parang may pa-tribute naman, grabe!"
Erich Gonzales rose to prominence at the age of 14 after winning the second season of reality talent search Star Circle Quest in 2005.
Her biggest break came when she played the lead in the TV adaptation of the 1980 film Katorse.
The Davao-native has since moved on to prove that she's a top-rater and a box-office success.
On February 2, Guhit Pinas member and artist Aubrey So took away her life due to depression. This video is to pay tribute to Aubrey and to raise awareness about mental health. Rest in peace, Aubrey.
