Vice Ganda teased fans of his tandem with Jackque "Ate Girl" Gonzaga on the February 23 episode of It's Showtime.
During another kilig-filled interaction at the Miss Q and A segment, Vice revealed that he's having second thoughts about his sweet banter with Ate Girl.
The comedian shared that he always tell his mother about Jackque. Because of this, his mother asked him a very surprising question.
"Alam mo ba lagi kita ipinagmamalaki kahit sa nanay ko. Tinatanong sa'kin ng nanay ko, 'Gusto mo ba talaga 'yung dancer sa Showtime?'" shared Vice.
He added, "Alam mo ba hindi ako nakasagot. Kasi dati sabi ko biruan lang 'to e. Pero ngayon, alam mo, naisip ko..." before taking a long pause to stroke Ate Girl's hair.
The interaction drew lots of reactions from the audience who went wild, calling for the two to kiss.
The spell was broken, however, when Vice noticed a different reaction from one of the audience.
Another host clarified for Vice: "Mas maganda ka daw kaysa kay Jackque."
Vice then told Jackque: "Dun ka nga! Mas maganda pala ko sa'yo lapit ka nang lapit."
Ate Girl became a viral sensation due to her hilarious “love team” with Vice.
The comedian has repeatedly told her that he is confused about his feelings for her.
Her daily interactions with Vice have become well-loved by the viewers of It’s Showtime.
