Maricar Reyes opened up on the talk show “Magandang Buhay” about the pressure she feels on having a baby after years of being married to singer Richard Po0n.

KAMI learned that although Maricar appreciates the comments of people about hoping that she finally gets pregnant, she also feels great pressure because of those comments.

However, she gave the assurance that she and Richard are already doing their part and that they are only waiting for God to make something happen, according to ABS-CBN Entertainment.

She also clarified that both she and Richard are capable of reproducing.

"When I hear that, actually 'yun 'yung nakaka-pressure kasi ang dami mong naririnig sa paligid.

“Even 'yung mga tao sa Instagram magko-comment sila. I love that they are praying for me. Actually ang heart nila, naiintindihan ko, is positive.

“Pero minsan mayroong, 'wait lang, don't pressure me.' Pero na-appreciate ko ang mga tao that are wishing well for me sa area na yon… Oo, mahirap mag-deny…

“Sobra akong thankful na on the same page kami na ayaw naming ma-pressure. Ang amin lang, we will do our part...

“Technically, oo kayong dalawa ang gumawa noon but it's really God who gave it to you, so you wait. Mag-pray kayo and establish your relationship with God.

“You know it will come at the right time, in his time. Kasi siya naman ang may alam kung kailan talaga siya perfect for you…

“After the second year, noong nagta-try na kami, we really wanted and we still want. I really love na hindi namin pini-pressure ang isa't isa.

“Parang may peace kami ngayon na if it comes, it comes. If it doesn't, we will wait. Kasi mayroon, it's going to come, we're just waiting."

“I think nakatulong din 'yung first year kami nag-try, nagpa-work up talaga ako, nagpadoktor. Pati 'yung doktor, hindi rin siya sure kung bakit hindi. Kasi everything looks fine kaming dalawa, so weird.

“So noong narinig ko 'yon, tapos ang daming sina-suggest na kung ano-ano ang gagawin ko. Sorry ha, pero noong pinag-pray namin parang we don't feel the need to do that yet…

"Mabuti naman ang lifestyle namin. We feel like that's our part, 'yun 'yung duty. Siyempre baby 'yan, baby is a life and life is given by God. So at least ang magagawa ko ay 'yung part ko na stay healthy," the actress explained.

Maricar tied the knot with Richard on June 9, 2013.

They started dating in 2012.

In April 2013, Richard confirmed that he is engaged to the actress.
