- Netizens bashed Taberna for putting the blame on the woman
Anthony Taberna drew negative reactions after making a commentary on “Umagang Kay Ganda” about a 19-year-old female victim who was abused by seven men in Barangay Bagong Silang, Caloocan City who she met and drank with.
KAMI learned from PEP.ph that Taberna’s commentary was more focused on putting the blame on the female victim for deciding to meet up with her male chat mate and have a drinking session with his friends.
E, 19 years old lang yun,” Taberna commented.
Jeff Canoy, his co-anchor, stepped in to state that all the blame should be placed on the suspects.
Canoy explained.
However, Taberna added that women should be reminded how to avoid those kinds of situations.
